The American analytical philosopher, Richard Rorty died on Friday.
In April 2003, Prospect published a portrait of him by Simon Blackburn.

Roger Scruton wrote a short theological treatise about truth, which did mention Rorty, for Open Democracy.

The funny bit is that Blackburn’s article serves as quite a good retort to Scruton’s commments, despite being written four years earlier.
