Doubtless more scary ” this is pretty horrific - worth a read ” cries from former Zim residents are shooting up all over the shop. However, anyone who (like me) missed the articles mentioned below in this e mail from a well-informed MSF doc chum might feel motivated to support the brave Blaylock :
Dear All
Many of you know Mark Blaylock who has been working at Manguzi Hospital on the Mozambique border for the last six years, where there is one of the highest HIV incidences in the world. Frustrated with the SA politicians denial of the AIDS crisis many of the doctors have started raising money independently and using their own salaries to buy antiretrovirals ( mainly for obstetrics to prevent mother to child transmission ).
The politicians have taken them to task as it has been very embarrassing for them when it hit National and international headlines. It has been a long process culminating in the latest incident and this has finally resulted in Mark being suspended.
It’s all laid out in this Mail and Guardian article
http://www.mg.co.za/articlePage.aspx?articleid=337795&area=/insight/insight__national/
At the bottom of this article by the Treatment Action Campaign there are the contact details for the MEC for health and ANC president Jacob Zuma if you would like to fax a letter of support.

I am pretty sure Mark would appreciate it if you could send a short comment to the above fax numbers.
